About PlayStation (PS)
PlayStation was founded in 1994, in Japan by Ken Kutaragi, a Sony executive who managed one of the company’s hardware engineering divisions. The brand is owned and produced by Sony Interactive Entertainment, a division of Sony.
This Japanese video game brand is made of five home video game consoles, a media center, an online service, a line of controllers, two handhelds, a phone and some magazines. The PlayStation 2 is the best selling console, having reached 155 million units sold by the end of 2012, and the PlayStation 4 console which was released in 2013 became the fastest selling console in history, selling a million units within a day.
To make it easier to use, the company created the PlayStation app which offers multiple advantages to its users: it gives them quicker access to features and makes it easier to switch them; they can easily browse the PlayStation store, redeem the codes and manage downloads; the ability to keep up with the latest activities from their friends; to view their PlayStation Network trophies; to check up the upcoming events and sign up for them.
For more information go to their official website or download the app from the App Store or Google Play on any device.
